The present study examined the level of awareness of Artificial Intelligence (AI) among secondary school teachers and compared their awareness based on gender. A quantitative survey method was adopted, and data were collected from 100 secondary school teachers selected through purposive sampling. Statistical techniques such as Mean, Standard Deviation, and t-test were used for data analysis. The findings revealed that teachers possess a moderate level of AI awareness. Further, no significant difference was found between male and female teachers regarding AI awareness. The study highlights the need for training programmes and professional development initiatives to enhance teachers’ understanding and effective use of AI in education.
