Archiving Policy

Archiving Policy

At mLAC Journal for Arts, Commerce and Sciences (m-JACS), we recognize the importance of long-term digital preservation of scholarly content. Ensuring that our published articles remain accessible to the global research community—even in the event of technical failures or discontinuation—is a critical component of our publishing ethics.

We have adopted the following archiving mechanisms to preserve and safeguard our content:

CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)

mJACS participates in the CLOCKSS archiving program, a community-governed, non-profit digital archive that ensures the long-term survival of web-based scholarly content. In case the journal is no longer available or ceases publication, CLOCKSS guarantees that the content will remain freely available to the academic community.

Institutional Repositories

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit their preprint, accepted manuscript, and final published version in institutional or subject-based repositories in accordance with our open access policy.

 Local Backups and Publisher’s Archive

All journal content is securely stored and regularly backed up on the publisher’s internal servers. We also maintain redundant backups to prevent data loss due to system failure or other unforeseen circumstances.

By implementing multiple layers of digital preservation, m-JACS ensures uninterrupted access to all scholarly works published under its banner.
