Editorial Note June, 2025
Dear Readers, Contributors, and Members of the Academic Community,
It gives me immense pleasure to present to you Volume 3, Issue 2 of the mLAC Journal for Arts, Commerce and Sciences (m-JACS)—a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed open access journal published by Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women (Autonomous).
This issue marks a significant milestone in our journey of academic excellence. We are delighted to announce that m-JACS is now indexed in J-Gate, a comprehensive database for global scholarly literature. This achievement is the result of our consistent commitment to rigorous editorial standards and transparent peer review.
In our continued pursuit of academic visibility and global recognition, we have formally applied to the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)—a major step towards wider discoverability and academic legitimacy. We are hopeful that this will pave the way for inclusion in other globally respected indexing platforms such as Scopus and Web of Science, which we aim to achieve by December 2025 or early 2026, coinciding with the journal's second anniversary.
We are also proud to introduce our newly launched Digital Certificate Management System through our academic platform at mlacwresearch.org, powered by MyPadNow.com. This system enables:
- Instant generation of digitally signed certificates with QR verification for authors, reviewers, and editorial board members.
- Customizable templates for review recognition, publication acknowledgment, and editorial contributions.
- A user-friendly portal for downloading and validating certificates, thereby promoting transparency and credibility.
Our journal continues to uphold its mission to serve as an interdisciplinary platform for high-quality research in the fields of social sciences, commerce, humanities, education, and applied sciences. With each issue, we strive to publish scholarly content that is impactful, relevant, and accessible to a global readership.
As we reflect on our progress and look ahead, I express my sincere gratitude to our authors, reviewers, advisory board, and readers whose dedication and support have made m-JACS a reputable academic platform in a short span of time. I invite you to explore the current issue and encourage continued scholarly contributions.
Let us move forward together—towards excellence, inclusion, and innovation in research.
Warm regards,
Warm regards,
Dr. Sushil Kumar Middha
