IJFAS is an open access journal which brings readers essential scholarly and timely information in all fields of basic and applied Biology. The journal aims at publishing original peer-reviewed articles in the research studies of phenomena associated with biomolecules, computational biology, bioinformatics of organisms in experimental models, basic biochemical pathways including their applications in pharmaceutical, agricultural and industrial biotechnology and immunological processes with their applications in health and disease.
IJFAS's purpose is to provide a forum for the studies on herbal medicines, traditional medicines, and natural products. The journal will accept the following contributions: research articles, review papers, short communications, letters to the editor, book reviews, conference announcements and other scientific information etc. The journal includes the studies on active ingredients and complex formulations of herbal medicines in medicinal resource, photochemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, pharmacokinetics and therapeutic function by experimental and clinical trials.
The prime interest of this journal is to introduce the latest development in pharmaceutical sciences to readers. The Journal aims at publishing papers based on original research contributing towards understanding the biochemical, molecular and cellular basis of biological processes and their applications in various fields. It publishes cutting-edge research reports, commentaries, reviews, databases and perspectives. The journal is not only intended for basic scientists and clinicians in the field of Biology, but also for those in other fields who wish to follow Biology.
